ISSD Uganda Programs Overview

Program Goal: To build an inclusive, robust seed sector by working with all seed systems and seed classes (including informal and formal systems).

Strategic Goal: To enhance climate-resilient, nutrition-sensitive, and market-integrated food systems that boost agricultural production, ensure food security, and improve household incomes particularly for women and youth.

Strategic Goal: To promote sustainable livelihoods and economic independence by equipping women, youth, and MSMEs with formal and non-formal skills for transition into decent work, agri-preneurship, and value-driven enterprises.

Strategic Goal: To embed evidence-based research, data-driven insights, and adaptive learning across all programmatic areas to enhance impact, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.

Goal: To Advocate for inclusive and progressive agricultural policies that foster an enabling environment for agribusiness and sustainable livelihoods.

Goal: To restore degraded ecosystems and enhance sustainable natural resources management, governance and watersheds by adjacent communities.
